I use AI tools as a central part of how I work — and I'm transparent about that. For my clients, it means faster turnaround, more options, and a higher-quality result at a price point that actually works for small organizations and nonprofits. It means I can do more research, more iteration, and more refinement than a traditional one-person shop.
What it doesn't replace is judgment, cultural understanding, relationships, and the ability to walk into a room and read what an organization actually needs. That part is still mine. AI just helps me bring more to the table.
For bilingual clients especially, AI helps me produce high-quality Spanish-language content, communications, and materials at a pace and quality that would otherwise require a much larger team.

Everywhere I have worked, whether managing a $1 million childcare operation, overseeing $750,000 in school district funds, or leading a Chamber of Commerce, I have always made sure that whatever I touched looked cohesive, professional, and worthy of the people it was meant to serve. It isn't in me to leave something that doesn't look good or work right. That instinct is what built 2b Kreative Designs. I'm Laura Bazaldua Bachofner, a bilingual creative and strategy consultant based in Central Washington. I've spent more than 15 years building systems, designing communications, and creating operational infrastructure in regulated, high-stakes environments. I came up doing the creative work inside organizations that didn't have a creative department, seeing what was missing and building it anyway. I'm also the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents. English is my second language. I grew up navigating institutions that weren't designed for families like mine, often serving as the translator and systems interpreter for my household. That experience lives in every bilingual communication I build, every policy I write in plain language, and every Spanish-speaking client I serve without making them feel like an afterthought. "The name 2b Kreative has always carried something personal, a reminder that the work I do is for something bigger than a deliverable."
